Hi Friends! Today, I’m going to sit down and talk all about our Honeymoon at Hammock Cove in Antigua.
So let’s start at the beginning – we booked our Honeymoon after our wedding in early September. After several hours of researching destinations, we decided to book a week’s trip to Hammock Cove, Antigua.
First, let me say that deciding where to honeymoon took a bit of research. We wanted to have a really relaxing trip in ultimate luxury, and after looking at several destinations we landed on Antigua!
After our August wedding, I booked the trip for February and it came around so fast. Before we knew it, we were on our way to the airport.
We flew direct on JetBlue from JFK in New York and landed in Antigua by 1 PM.
Our Honeymoon Villa

During the week, we spent a lot of time lounging out on our private patio. I mean how could we not?! Each villa is exactly the same–fully equipped with a outdoor wet bar, infinity plunge pool, and a spacious patio to layout and enjoy the warm Antiguan sunshine!
Breakfast for two? Don’t mind if we do! Almost every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on our patio. I preferred this, but my husband wanted to go down to the restaurant for breakfast a few mornings so we compromised. 😊
In My Bridal Era
Whenever I go on a vacation, I look forward to planning my outfits, and when it came to planning my honeymoon outfits I went all out. Below, I’ve linked everything I packed/wore on our honeymoon in Antigua.
Honeymooning at Hammock Cove
On most days, we spent our time lounging on the beach where we were served cocktails and delicious lunch by the attentive staff at Hammock Cove. Also, we enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling in the cove and on Valentines day we shared a special couples massage at the spa.
One morning, we walked down to Devil’s Bridge. It was a short 2 minute walk from Hammock Cove. If you’re staying there, I highly recommend taking the walk. The views were absolutely unreal. So beautiful!

The water in Antigua is just stunning.

Custom Bridal Sweatsuit
My extremely talented cousin made me a custom sweatsuit with my new last name to wear on the plane. I received so many compliments on it! It’s an amazing gift idea for the bride-to-be in your life or a perfect gift to yourself! You can shop her products on Etsy here: Custom Designs by NL
Overall, we had the honeymoon of our dreams at Hammock Cove, Antigua. I can’t recommend this island and hotel more! Definitely bucket list worthy 🙂 Hope you enjoyed this post! What’s your dream honeymoon destination? Let me know in the comments!
